How About Jennifer Lopez As New Judge Of American Idol?

One of the frontrunners seems to be Jennifer Lopez as new judge of American Idol. I don't envy them the job. I'd really hate to have to tell a singing teacher that their singing "sucks" or that they don't have any talent. That not only impacts their career, but in many cases their entire lives as well as their self-esteem. Here's where Randy Jackson's vote appears to be heading.

Randy Jackson on 'American Idol': Jennifer Lopez has my vote but Ryan Seacrest is only sure bet

The dawg is voting for Jenny from the Block.

With the future of "American Idol" up in the air and the judging-panel in free-fall, Randy Jackson -- rumored to be the only original member of the show staying on for next season -- is casting his vote.

"If Jennifer Lopez is a judge I would be very happy," he told E! Online at the 2010 Farmers Classic tennis tournament. "I love her."

The departure of head judge Simon Cowell and that of incumbent judge Ellen DeGeneres threw the show into a tailspin last week with rumors swirling as to who will fill out the revamped judges panel.

The two most popular frontrunners are Jennifer Lopez and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, who stirred the pot this weekend when he announced "[I'm] probably going to be judge on 'American Idol.'"

"The only thing that's for sure is [host] Ryan [Seacrest]," Randy Jackson told E! "Nothing has been decided."
